Chip NanoImaging announces its participation in the COMBAT project kickoff meeting.
Oslo, 4. February 2025
The COMBAT project had the official kick off meeting for members in the COMBAT consortium in Solna Sweden the 3-4 February.
During the kick-off meeting the participants were provided with information about various practical aspects of the project, status of the ongoing Dengue Epidemic in Guatemala, and technologies that will be implemented during the project, including Organ-on-Chip, Spatial Omics, and Super-Resolution Microscopy.
About the COMBAT project
The COMBAT project is leading dengue research with innovative antiviral strategies and multi-modal technologies to better understand its pathogenesis. This interdisciplinary initiative combines biology, physics, nanotechnology, computer science, and bioengineering to create policies addressing dengue in Europe and establish an advanced hub for pandemic preparedness. By fostering international collaboration across seven countries, COMBAT aims to revolutionize global health responses and enhance community resilience against emerging health crises.
The EU Horizon Europe program is supporting this important initiative with € 7 999 992 in funding. More information about the project is available on its website: https://combatdengue.eu/
About Chip NanoImaging AS
Chip NanoImaging AS (CNI) is a private Norwegian deep-tech company based in Tromsø, Norway. CNI is commercializing photonic chip-based super-resolution microscopy. CNI provides pharma and biotech companies & startups with the value proposition of earlier discovery and visualization of important aspects of drug-cell interactions leading to great risk mitigation of drug discovery programs. This can result in tremendous savings of research efforts and costs that could be spent on unnecessary animal and clinical studies.
For academic researchers the CNI value proposition is access to enormous and more robust data sets in small numbers of experiments.
